How Google decides who appears in the Map Pack
Google explains that local results are based mainly on three things:
- Relevance: how well your profile matches what someone is searching for
- Distance: how far your business is from the searcher or the location in the search
- Prominence: how well known and trusted your business is, including reviews, links and mentions across the web
Distance cannot be changed, but relevance and prominence can. Our local SEO work improves both, using only methods that comply with Google’s guidelines.
What we work on
- Categories and services that match the searches your customers actually make
- Complete profile information: attributes, hours, products, services and descriptions
- Review strategy: a simple, policy-compliant system to ask happy customers for reviews, plus professional replies
- Photos and updates that show your business is active and real
- Citations and NAP consistency: making sure your name, address and phone match on directories like Justdial, IndiaMART, Sulekha and social profiles
- Website signals: location pages, local schema markup and consistent contact details that support your profile
- Competitor analysis: understanding why the businesses above you rank there
What we will never do
No fake reviews, no keyword-stuffed business names, no virtual-office addresses and no fake listings. These shortcuts may work briefly, but they put your profile at real risk of suspension.
Honest note: Nobody can guarantee a specific Google Maps position, because distance and Google’s systems are outside anyone’s control. We focus on improving everything you can control.
